With the victory, Daniel upgrades its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Lions travel to T.L. Hanna (Anderson, SC) to play the Yellow Jackets in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. The Yellow Jackets come into the battle with a record of 13-3. T.L. Hanna won 62-59 in their recent non-league battle against Brookwood (Snellville, GA)

The Redhounds (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Danville Christian Academy (Danville, KY). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Danville Christian Academy was toppled by Blazer (Ashland, KY), 60-37, in a non-league battle.
