Milan Indians (Milan, IN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Eastern Musketeers (Pekin, IN), 76-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milan upgrades its record to 1-6 on the season. The Indians host South Ripley (Versailles, IN) to play the Raiders in a Ohio River Valley bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-4. South Ripley lost 45-41 in their recent non-league bout against Southridge (Huntingburg, IN)

Next up, the Musketeers play the Silver Creek Dragons (Sellersburg, IN) in a Mid-Southern bout, on Friday, January 5. Eastern will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Dragons go into the bout with a 7-3 record after their 50-43 non-league loss to Providence (Clarksville, IN).
