The James Island Trojans basketball team (Charleston, SC), was nudged 55-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC)

The Furies now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westchester Country Day for a NCISAA Piedmont battle on Wednesday, January 3. Forsyth Country Day will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 71-59 non-league win over Seaforth (Pittsboro, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 6-8.

The Trojans (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against West Ashley (Charleston, SC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 12-4 record.
