The Marshall Redhawks (Marshall, MI) basketball nipped the host Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI), 63-59 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Redhawks (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Western (Parma, MI). The Panthers go into the Interstate Eight test with a 6-3 record.

The Eagles now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Potterville for a Central Michigan test on Wednesday, January 10.
