Pleasant Grove Eagles (Elk Grove, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Fresno Christian Eagles (Fresno, CA), 63-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Grove upgrades its record to 7-7 on the season. The Eagles host Davis (Davis, CA) to play the Blue Devils in a Delta League bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Davis lost 68-55 in their recent non-league bout against Benicia (Benicia, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Frontier Titans (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Fresno Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 10-4 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 46-44 non-league win over Atascadero (Atascadero, CA).
