The Perrysburg Yellow Jackets (Perrysburg, OH) basketball crushed the host Genoa Area Comets (Genoa, OH), 75-44 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Yellow Jackets (5-2) will now prepare for their test against Central Catholic (Toledo, OH). The Fighting Irish go into the non-league test with a 3-5 record. In their last test, Central Catholic walloped Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH), 52-50, in a non-league test.
The Comets now own a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Eastwood for a Northern Buckeye test on Saturday, January 6. Genoa Area will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 45-36 non-league loss to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH). The Eagles record now stands at 4-5.
