The Howard Tigers basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting James Valley Christian Vikings to 52 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Tigers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Menno for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Howard will battle a Wolves team coming off a 60-28 non-league loss to Wagner (Wagner, SD). The Wolves record now stands at 0-5.
The Vikings (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD). The Warbirds enter the B Region 2 contest with a 4-1 record.
