The Howe Bulldogs (Howe, TX) basketball felled the host Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX), 52-32 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their test against Lone Oak (Lone Oak, TX). The Buffaloes go into the non-league test with a 12-7 record. In their last test, Lone Oak thwarted Gilmer (Gilmer, TX), 57-35, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 3-16 record. They play next when they travel to Harmony for a 3A Region II District 13 test on Tuesday, January 2. Quitman will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 49-39 non-league win over Pittsburg (Pittsburg, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 7-7.
