The Ilwaco Fishermen basketball team scored 59 points and held the visiting King's Way Christian Knights to 42 in the Fishermen non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Fishermen now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chief Leschi for a 2B Pacific contest on Wednesday, January 3. Ilwaco will meet a Warriors team coming off a 48-46 non-league loss to Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Warriors record now stands at 6-3.

The Knights (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Castle Rock (Castle Rock, WA). The Rockets enter the 1A Trico contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Castle Rock ran past Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, WA), 62-51, in a non-league contest.
