The Hurricanes now possess a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Monroe Area for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5.
The Red Devils (4-7) will now prepare for their battle against Clarke Central (Athens, GA). The Gladiators come into the AAAAA Region 8 battle with a 5-7 record. In their last battle, Clarke Central edged Therrell (Atlanta, GA), 74-68, in a non-league battle.
