Illinois High School Basketball - Northside tipped by Jones

The Jones Eagles basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Northside Mustangs to 51 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Eagles now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Rita for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Jones will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 81-30 non-league loss to Manual (Peoria, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-14.
The Mustangs (7-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northtown (Chicago, IL). The Pumas enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Northtown was nudged by Yeshiva (Skokie, IL), 60-57, in a non-league contest.
