The St. Joseph Academy Flashes basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the host Lake Gibson Braves to 37 in the Flashes non-league victory on Saturday.
The Flashes now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harvest Community for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. St. Joseph Academy will battle a Warriors team coming off a 61-58 non-league win over LaBelle (LaBelle, FL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-8.
The Braves (5-6) will now prepare for their contest against ED White (Jacksonville, FL). The Commanders come into the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, ED White prevailed over Westside (Jacksonville, FL), 80-53, in a non-league contest.
