The Lane Tech Champions basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Morgan Park Mustangs to 37 in the Champions non-league victory on Saturday.

The Champions now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brother Rice for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Lane Tech will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 79-68 non-league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 15-2.

The Mustangs (6-8) will now prepare for their contest against Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Cyclones come into the Chicago Public - White South contest with a 7-8 record.
