Texas High School Basketball - Lockhart can't hold off San Diego

The San Diego Vaqueros basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the visiting Lockhart Lions to 41 in the Vaqueros non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 18-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tuloso-Midway for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. San Diego will battle a Warriors team coming off a 60-57 non-league loss to Incarnate Word Academy (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 7-13.
The Lions (11-11) will now prepare for their contest against Liberty Hill (Liberty Hill, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region IV District 25 contest with a 16-5 record. In their last contest, Liberty Hill edged Montgomery (Montgomery, TX), 61-51, in a non-league contest.
