Miami Trace Panthers (Washington Courthouse, OH) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting London Red Raiders (London, OH), 65-62 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Miami Trace upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Circleville (Circleville, OH) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 5-3. Circleville won 81-79 in their recent non-league bout against Westfall (Williamsport, OH)

Next up, the Red Raiders play the Urbana Hillclimbers (Urbana, OH) in a Central Buckeye Conference - Kenton Trail bout, on Friday, January 5. London will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
