Streator Bulldogs (Streator, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), 52-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Streator upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Bulldogs host Lisle (Lisle, IL) to play the Lions in a Illinois Central 8 bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Lisle won 46-31 in their recent non-league bout against Newark (Newark, IL)

Next up, the Cadets play the St. Charles East Fighting Saints (St. Charles, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Marmion will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record.
