The Minneapolis Southwest Lakers (Minneapolis, MN) basketball felled the host Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks (Minneapolis, MN), 66-57 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lakers (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Washburn (Minneapolis, MN). The Millers go into the AAAA Section 6 test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, Washburn thwarted Robbinsdale Armstrong (Plymouth, MN), 87-58, in a league test.
The Red Hawks now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mounds Park Academy for a AA Section 4 test on Friday, January 5. Minnehaha Academy will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 87-70 league loss to St. Paul Academy-Summit (St. Paul, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 3-3.
