Seminole Seminoles (Sanford, FL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Mount Dora Christian Academy Bulldogs (Mount Dora, FL), 78-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seminole upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Seminoles travel to Lyman (Longwood, FL) to play the Greyhounds in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Greyhounds go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Lyman won 51-39 in their recent non-league bout against Titusville (Titusville, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the South Lake Eagles (Groveland, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Mount Dora Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 57-48 non-league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, FL).
