With the victory, Mountain Brook improves its record to 14-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL) to confront the Cougars in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Clay-Chalkville won 52-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Spain Park (Hoover, AL)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Webster County will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 67-64 non-league win over Union County (Morganfield, KY).
