The Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA) basketball felled the visiting New Brighton Lions (New Brighton, PA), 67-54 in Saturday's non-league contest.
The Rams now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornell for a WPIAL 1A 1 contest on Wednesday, January 3. Rochester will meet a Raiders team coming off a 45-34 non-league loss to Hillel Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-5.
The Lions (3-7) will now prepare for their contest against Riverside (Ellwood City, PA). The Panthers enter the WPIAL 3A 1 contest with a 2-8 record. In their last contest, Riverside was outscored by Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 71-30, in a non-league contest.
