    The Rome Wolves basketball team scored 61 points and held the visiting North Cobb Warriors to 50 in the Wolves non-league triumph on Saturday.

    The Wolves now sport a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Etowah for a AAAAAA Region 6 contest on Wednesday, January 3. Rome will meet a Eagles team coming off a 61-45 non-league win over North Cobb (Kennesaw, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-4.

    The Warriors (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against Pope (Marietta, GA). The Greyhounds enter the non-league contest with a 13-3 record. In their last contest, Pope was outscored by Walton (Marietta, GA), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
