California High School Basketball - Oceanside thwarted by Olympian

The Oceanside Pirates basketball team (Oceanside, CA), dropped 61-50 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Olympian Eagles (Chula Vista, CA)

The Eagles now possess a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Monte Vista for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Olympian will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 61-45 non-league loss to Southwest SD (San Diego, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 7-6.

The Pirates (7-8) will now prepare for their battle against El Camino (Oceanside, CA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 8-8 record. In their last battle, El Camino dropped by Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, CA), 75-73, in a non-league battle.
