Washington High School Basketball - Our Lady of Good Counsel ripped by O'Dea

The O'Dea Fighting Irish basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons to 41 in the Fighting Irish non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Fighting Irish now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop Blanchet for a 3A Metro contest on Wednesday, January 3. O'Dea will meet a Bears team coming off a 49-43 non-league loss to Lodi (Lodi, CA). The Bears record now stands at 3-7.

The Falcons (3-12) will now prepare for their contest against The Heights (Potomac, MD). The enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, The Heights was routed by New Hope Academy (Landover Hills, MD), 90-76, in a non-league contest.
