In Saturday's non-league outing, the St. Joseph Catholic Bruins (Madison, MS) basketball squad felled the host Parklane Academy Pioneers (McComb, MS), by a margin of 48-30.
The Bruins (17-1) will now prepare for their outing against Riverfield Academy (Rayville, LA). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record. In their last outing, Riverfield Academy was beaten by Simpson Academy (Mendenhall, MS), 80-41, in a non-league outing.
The Pioneers now own a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Bowling Green for a MAIS 5A District 3 outing on Friday, January 12.
