The Peaster Greyhounds basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Whitney Wildcats to 32 in the Greyhounds non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Early for a 3A Region I District 8 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Peaster will meet a Longhorns team coming off a 47-32 non-league loss to Alvarado (Alvarado, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 8-6.

The Wildcats (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Connally (Waco, TX). The Cadets enter the non-league contest with a 7-11 record. In their last contest, Connally was defeated by Dripping Springs (Dripping Springs, TX), 60-43, in a non-league contest.
