The Searcy Lions basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Pulaski Academy Bruins to 58 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now sport a 7-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paragould for a 5A East contest on Friday, January 5. Searcy will battle a Rams team coming off a 83-30 non-league loss to Farmington (Farmington, AR). The Rams record now stands at 9-6.

The Bruins (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hall (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors enter the 4A Region 5 contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Hall was defeated by Van Buren (Van Buren, AR), 49-45, in a non-league contest.
