Red Bank Regional Bucs (Little Silver, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ranney (Tinton Falls, NJ), 63-57 in a league bout.

With the win, Red Bank Regional upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bucs host Lacey Township (Lanoka Harbor, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Lacey Township lost 74-66 in their recent non-league bout against Shore Regional (West Long Branch, NJ)

Next up, the play the Central Regional Golden Eagles (Bayville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Ranney will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 40-39 league loss to Toms River North (Toms River, NJ).
