Michigan High School Basketball - Renaissance can't hold off West Bloomfield

The West Bloomfield Lakers basketball team scored 83 points and restricted the visiting Renaissance Phoenix to 79 in the Lakers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Lakers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Farmington for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 4. West Bloomfield will battle a Raiders team coming off a 65-43 non-league win over Flat Rock (Flat Rock, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 6-1.

The Phoenix (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Hammond Bishop Noll (Hammond, IN). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Hammond Bishop Noll was nudged by Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 61-46, in a non-league contest.
