The Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) basketball felled the visiting West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), 75-67 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rockets (7-5) will now prepare for their test against South Oldham (Crestwood, KY). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, South Oldham thwarted Boone County (Florence, KY), 84-72, in a non-league test.
The Colts now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Burgin for a District 46 test on Friday, January 5.
