    In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Ropes Eagles basketball team scored a tight 38-32 triumph over the All Saints Saints.

    In their next game, the Eagles meet the Tahoka Bulldogs (Tahoka, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 match, on Tuesday, January 2. Ropes will attempt to move on its 14-5 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 4-7 record after their 44-23 non-league loss to Coahoma (Coahoma, TX).

    With the defeat, All Saints moves to 5-5 on the year. The Saints host Fort Worth THESA (Fort Worth, TX) to meet the Riders in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 9. The Riders enter the match with a record of 11-9. Fort Worth THESA lost 88-36 in their recent non-league match against Victory Christian Academy (Decatur, TX)
