Ohio High School Basketball - Turpin fells Archbishop McNicholas

December 30, 2023: Cincinnati, OH 45230

Turpin Spartans (Cincinnati, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Archbishop McNicholas Rockets (Cincinnati, OH), 55-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Turpin upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Spartans travel to Anderson (Cincinnati, OH) to clash with the Raptors in a Eastern Cincinnati bout on Thursday, January 4. The Raptors go into the bout with a record of 0-10. Anderson lost 63-42 in their recent league bout against Little Miami (Morrow, OH)

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Badin Rams (Hamilton, OH) in a Greater Catholic bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Archbishop McNicholas will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 55-46 non-league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, OH).
