Barlow Bruins (Gresham, OR) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR), 53-45 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Barlow upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Bruins travel to Beaverton (Beaverton, OR) to clash with the Beavers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Beavers go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Beaverton lost 52-43 in their recent non-league bout against Oregon City (Oregon City, OR)

Next up, the Irish clash with the St. Mary's Academy Blues (Portland, OR) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Sheldon will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record.
