Poly Engineers (Baltimore, MD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD), 56-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Poly upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Engineers host Lake Clifton (Baltimore, MD) to play the Lakers in a Baltimore City I bout on Thursday, January 4. The Lakers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Lake Clifton lost 50-20 in their recent league bout against City College (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Barons play the Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Bethesda-Chevy Chase will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 49-48 league loss to Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD).
