Texas High School Basketball - Burkburnett knocked off by Mabank

The Mabank Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Burkburnett Bulldogs to 52 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Panthers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brownsboro for a 4A Region II District 16 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Mabank will battle a Bears team coming off a 57-42 non-league loss to Seminole (Seminole, TX). The Bears record now stands at 17-5.
The Bulldogs (13-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hirschi (Wichita Falls, TX). The Huskies enter the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 2-13 record.
