The Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) basketball knocked off the host Miller Buccaneers (Corpus Christi, TX), 62-49 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats (17-6) will now prepare for their test against Port Aransas (Port Aransas, TX). The Marlins go into the non-league test with a 5-5 record. In their last test, Port Aransas went down by Ingleside (Ingleside, TX), 53-42, in a non-league test.

The Buccaneers now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Ray for a 5A Region IV District 29 test on Tuesday, January 2.
