With the victory, Calvary Academy upgrades its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Lions host Fellowship Academy (Kennedale, TX) to play the Mustangs in a TAPPS 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 12-3. Fellowship Academy won 66-22 in their recent non-league challenge against Covenant (Dallas, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Paradise Panthers (Paradise, TX) in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Callisburg will attempt to upgrade on its 5-15 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 17-6 record after their 47-39 non-league win over Nazareth (Nazareth, TX).
