High School Basketball - Canyon Lake thwarts Tournament Opponent

The Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX) basketball knocked off the host Tournament Opponent (, ), 25-11 in Saturday's non-league test.
The (11-11) will now prepare for their test against Davenport (San Antonio, TX). The Wolves go into the 4A Region IV District 27 test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Davenport went down by Navarro (Geronimo, TX), 43-36, in a league test.
The now own a 57-128 record. They play next when they travel to Brownfield for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Tournament Opponent will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 47-29 non-league loss to Grapevine Faith Christian (Grapevine, TX). The Cubs record now stands at 7-14.
