Nevada High School Basketball - Churchill County overwhelms Carson

Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV) and the visiting Carson Senators (Carson City, NV), saw Churchill County's basketball squad wallop Carson by a count of 55-33.

With the victory, Churchill County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Greenwave travel to Virgin Valley (Mesquite, NV) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 30. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-7. Virgin Valley won 50-44 in their recent non-league challenge against Coral Academy of Science Las Vegas (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Senators play the Reed Raiders (Sparks, NV) in a 4A Northern challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Carson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Raiders come into the challenge with a 0-8 record after their 73-42 non-league loss to Fernley (Fernley, NV).
