The Catoctin Cougars (Thurmont, MD) basketball nipped the host Milford Mill Academy Millers (Baltimore, MD), 49-43 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Cougars (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Walkersville (Walkersville, MD). The Lions go into the Central Maryland test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Walkersville got by Kent Island (Stevensville, MD), 41-36, in a non-league test.
The Millers now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Kenwood for a Baltimore County 1 test on Wednesday, January 3.
