In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Evergreen Valley Cougars basketball team scored a tight 52-51 triumph over the Central Grizzlies.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Evergreen Valley will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record.
With the defeat, Central moves to 10-6 on the year. The Grizzlies travel to Bullard (Fresno, CA) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Thursday, January 4.
