The Holy Spirit Spartans topped the visiting Cheltenham Panthers basketball team by a final score of 47-30 in Saturday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Camden Catholic Fighting Irish (Cherry Hill, NJ) in a non-league game, on Sunday, December 31. Holy Spirit will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Fighting Irish enter the game with a 3-2 record after their 49-33 non-league win over Pennsauken (Pennsauken, NJ).
With the defeat, Cheltenham drops to 4-4 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plymouth Whitemarsh (Plymouth Meeting, PA) to encounter the Colonials in a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3. The Colonials go into the test with a record of 5-3.
