Texas High School Basketball - Trinity trounces Chester

The Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Chester Yellowjackets (Chester, TX), 43-18 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Tigers (3-12) will now prepare for their test against Anderson-Shiro (Anderson, TX). The Fighting Owls go into the 3A Region III District 23 test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Anderson-Shiro was trounced by Canyon Lake (Fischer, TX), 51-40, in a non-league test.

The Yellowjackets now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Goodrich for a 1A Region IV District 28 test on Tuesday, January 2. Chester will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 56-6 league win over Burkeville (Burkeville, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 7-11.
