Tennessee High School Basketball - Clinton nudges Hillsborough

December 30, 2023: Clinton, TN 37716

Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Hillsborough Terriers (Tampa, FL), 67-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Clinton upgrades its record to 12-4 on the season. The Dragons host Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Oak Ridge lost 57-32 in their recent non-league bout against Sevier County (Sevierville, TN)

Next up, the Terriers clash with the Chamberlain Storm (Tampa, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Hillsborough will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record.
