The Fostoria Redmen basketball team (Fostoria, OH), was nudged 32-30 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH)
The Tornadoes now possess a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vermilion for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 3. Columbian will battle a Sailors team coming off a 50-25 league loss to Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH). The Sailors record now stands at 3-6.
The Redmen (5-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Harbor (Oak Harbor, OH). The Rockets come into the Northern Buckeye battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Oak Harbor edged Clay (Oregon, OH), 40-24, in a non-league battle.
