The Johnstown-Monroe Johnnies basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Danville Blue Devils to 54 in the Johnnies non-league victory on Saturday.
The Johnnies now sport a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Philo for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 3. Johnstown-Monroe will battle a Electrics team coming off a 49-25 league loss to Sheridan (Thornville, OH). The Electrics record now stands at 6-3.
The Blue Devils (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against River View (Warsaw, OH). The Black Bears come into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, River View dropped by West Muskingum (Zanesville, OH), 48-19, in a league contest.
