Nevada High School Basketball - Imperial tipped by Douglas

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Douglas Tigers basketball team scored a tight 44-43 triumph over the Imperial Tigers.

In their next game, the Tigers meet the Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) in a 4A Northern match, on Thursday, January 4. Douglas will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 2-11 record after their 50-24 non-league loss to Rocklin (Rocklin, CA).

With the defeat, Imperial moves to 7-8 on the year. The Tigers travel to El Capitan (Lakeside, CA) to face the Vaqueros in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 3. The Vaqueros enter the game with a record of 8-7. El Capitan lost 75-33 in their recent non-league game against Cerritos (Cerritos, CA)
