With the win, Sacred Heart Academy upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The host Mercy (Middletown, CT) to play the Tigers in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Mercy won 35-33 in their recent non-league bout against Norwich Free Academy (Norwich, CT)

Next up, the Panthers play the Enfield Eagles (Enfield, CT) in a Central Connecticut - East Patriot bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Edwin O. Smith will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record.
