With the win, Fleming upgrades its record to 8-2 on the season. The Colonels travel to William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to clash with the Terriers in a Blue Ridge bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Terriers go into the bout with a record of 5-4. William Byrd lost 54-45 in their recent non-league bout against Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Unity Reed Lions (Manassas, VA) in a Cedar Run bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Gainesville will attempt to upgrade on its 12-1 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 0-9 record after their 75-7 non-league loss to Justice (Falls Church, VA).
