With the victory, Gahr improves its record to 16-2 on the campaign. The Gladiators travel to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA) to confront the Knights in a Gateway challenge on Friday, January 5. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 7-9.

Next up, the Matadores confront the Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA) in a San Gabriel Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 3. La Mirada will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 1-9 record after their 59-19 non-league loss to Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
