California High School Basketball - Grant nipped by Taft

December 30, 2023: Woodland Hills, CA 91364

The Taft Toreadors tipped the visiting Grant Lancers basketball team by a final score of 28-26 in Saturday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Toreadors face the Granada Hills Charter Highlanders (Granada Hills, CA) in a West Valley game, on Wednesday, January 10. Taft will attempt to move on its 2-8 season record.

With the defeat, Grant moves to 2-5 on the year. The Lancers travel to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA) to face the Pioneers in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 2. The Pioneers enter the game with a record of 3-2. Sun Valley Magnet won 35-2 in their recent league game against Discovery (Sylmar, CA)
